Spending time in nature

Written by Arsh Bansal

Picture this: on a cloudy evening, as you work from home (you know why), you walk to your balcony and see the tall trees and blooming flowers in the central vista of your society, and all you can think is, “When can I finally get outdoor to just get away from my devices for a bit and be part of that primitive life we all grew up in?”

Being in green spaces and basically all nature is healing in itself, with the addition of finding happiness that helps in reducing stress levels, blood pressure and heart rate. Though it can be hard with the current scenario and how we are just lost because of the speed of life, finding that time is important.

We are listing some of the ways that Tenpy cabins can help find that serenity and happiness when you wander off with us.

Do Nothing

The first and most important rule when you want that time to slow down, is to try to do nothing. Just be, relaxed, with less thoughts on mind and soak in that greenery as much as you can (basically, forest bathe). Our tiny homes are provided with picturesque windows near the bed space so as soon as you wake up you have the eyes opening to the calmness of the greenery around you. We also provide you with an outdoor wooden deck that acts as a doorway to escape into nature. Just fix up that morning coffee or tea (we provide it too if you are too lazy to make some) and enjoy the sunrise from the deck.

Trek it out

We sense you’re missing that morning gym routine of yours (even though you might be just dreaming it). Get your heart pumping by walking the rolling hills and trails around the campsite. It doesn’t matter if you’re a seasons hiker or an amateur, there is something for everyone. We have food provided at the campsite but for those people who like to live on their own terms, the cabins have their own kitchen that can be used to make a lunch pack if you want. Observe the unique flora around you while guess what birds are chirping away in the background.

Playlist Binge

When we have that alone time or are just doing nothing, music plays a big role in shaping how our mental state is. Pair that with gorgeous flora around you, and you have a winner. Stay in bed, or sit on the deck, don’t think it could get any better. We recommend downloading before hand or saving the songs because then you would have a totally offline experience, which adds to the entire vibe of unplugging from the internet.

Books and beyond

Wanting to catch up on that book for a while? Well bring it along with you when you come stay at our cabins or check out some of the books we have available in the cabins for you. Find that shaded space on the campsite, and just indulge in quiet time that you’ve been longing. Did you know that the cabins are named after book characters from books we have read? If you come across any characters from books you relate to or particularly like, do drop us a mail and we will definitely consider it for the next cabin we add.
